Implementation of Mahila Utkarsh Yojana Gujarat will be done by Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd(GLPC) in rural areas and by Gujarat Urban Development Mission (GULM) in the urban areas. The major objective of the Gujarat Mahila Utkarsh Yojana is to create 1 lakh Joint Liability Earnings and Savings Group (JLESG) and make 10 lakh women self-reliant by encouraging joint economic activity through these groups.

Benefits of Gujarat Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana
- Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana, women will be given a loan of up to Rs 1 lakh and they will not have to pay any interest on the amount.
- With the amount given under the scheme, women will be able to start their own businesses and become financially strong.
- Under the Mahila Utkarsh Yojana, up to 10 lakh, women will be given loans.

Eligibility for CM Mahila Utkarsh Yojana
- The woman who wishes to apply for the interest-free loan scheme must be a resident of Gujarat.
- The applicant must be over 18 years of age and less than 60 years.
- Priority will be given to widowed and abandoned women.
- Apart from this, it is mandatory for the woman to be a member of a self-supporting group to take advantage of the scheme.
- There should be at least 10 women in a self-supporting group.
