Under the new welfare scheme Rs 1500 per month allowance will be provided to women in the age group of 18 to 60 years.
During the election campaign ahead of assembly elections Congress party has promised to make women self reliant by providing them monthly allowance. Fulfilling the poll guarantee Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana will come in effect from next month i.e from from 1st April 2024
