How To Apply For CAT 2022
- Registration Process
Begin by creating a CAT User ID and a Password. Once completed, candidates must log in with their CAT ID and Password to the official website-iimcat.ac.in by following the steps outlined below:
- Visit the official website and go to the ‘New Candidate Registration’ section and click on the ‘Register’ tab.
- Enter your basic information, such as email, name, contact number, country, and date of birth, and then click ‘Submit’ to receive an OTP.
- Enter the OTP and Captcha code and press the ‘I Agree and Submit button.
- Your CAT User ID and password will be generated and sent to the email address you provided. Make a note of it for future correspondence.
- Fill Application Form
Log in with the user ID and password you created in the previous step to complete the CAT application form 2022.
- Personal Information: Date of Birth, Category, Gender, Nationality, Parental Information, Correspondence Address, Emergency Contact Information
- Academic Information: Class 10th and 12th grades, graduation and postgraduate scores, professional degree/course information
- Work Experience Details: Although not required, you can enter details about your full-time work experience in this section.
- IIM Program Preference: Candidates must choose an IIM institute, a programme, and a city for the interview.
- CAT Exam City Preference: Candidates can choose from a list of six CAT exam cities based on their time and travel convenience.

Scanned images of the following documents must be uploaded when completing the CAT application form 2022:

CAT 2022: Pay Registration Fee
After completing the preceding steps, the CAT 2022 application fee must be paid online. Debit cards can be used to pay the CAT registration fee. Credit cards, Net Banking, UPI, and online wallets are all options. This year, the registration fee at IIM Bangalore has been raised.
