- Address- In this application section, the applicant must provide the specifics of their home and business addresses. When entering the address, the applicant must take care to provide accurate information.
- Address of communication– The candidate must select the address they wish to be contacted.
- Email address and phone number—For communication purposes, the applicant must provide their country code, state code, and phone number.
- Status of applicant– Here, the applicant must specify whether they are a single person, a HUF member, a business, a partnership firm, etc.
- Registration number– The registration number serves as the identification number for LLPs, businesses, and other entities.
- Citizenship– In this application section, the applicant must list their country of citizenship along with its ISD code.
- Representative of the applicant in India—The applicant should include information about the representative or agent here, such as their full name and address.
- Documents submitted– The applicant must list all the documents they have included with the application in this form section.
- KYC details– According to SEBI regulations, this section of the form must be filled out by a Qualified Foreign Investor. In addition, you will include information like marital status, employment, citizenship status, and more.
- Declaration– Fill out your name and date, and place it in the final section before signing the form with your left thumb impression. Then, send the properly completed form, along with the other necessary documents and the payment demand draft, to the NSDL e-Govt. Or UTIITSL office.

Although filling out a form might seem simple, breaking some rules could result in your application being rejected. Some of the key guidelines to bear in mind when completing Form 49AA are listed below.
- Norms for completing Form 49AA in general
You must complete the application in English, not in any other language. In addition, you must complete the form in block letters; each box can only contain one character. The applicant is also advised to fill out the form in black ink; it is preferable to use a ballpoint pen rather than a liquid ink pen because the latter could cause the form to appear splotchy.
- Photographic signature and thumbprint
