CM Announces Ladli Behna Yojana Madhya Pradesh

Summary: The registration for Ladli Behna Yojana Madhya Pradesh is going to start from 8th March 2023, Under the Ladli Bahana Yojana Rs. 1000 per month will be provided to Women of all castes, religion, community in the state.

A great news for the native residents of Madhya Pradesh. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the honorable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has announced Ladli Behna Yojana for the financially-drained women of the state.

As per the scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government will provide Rs. 12,000 per year ( Rs 1000 per month) to all the women belonging to Below Poverty Line, Lower Income Group, and Middle Income Group. The objective of this welfare scheme is to support women empowerment by providing monthly financial assistance, irrespective of the religion, caste, color, and community.

On the occasion of Narmada Jayanti Program, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan says “ Our poor sisters from lower-middle class will get benefits from the ladli behna yojana irrespective of caste or creed. For us, all of our sisters are equally important no matter what class and caste they belong to –  be it general class, backward class, scheduled caste, or tribal group.

We respect them as much as we do our sisters, and hence would like to offer them financial assistance of Rs 1,000 every month( i.e. Rs. 12,000 a year). The Madhya Pradesh government will deposit this amount every month in the beneficiary’s account to ensure equal empowerment among women of all ages, caste, and community”. 

The announcement also clarifies that the beneficiary has to be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh and must belong to a lower income group. The guidelines to specify the income group eligibility are expected to be launched soon.

More details about the scheme are yet to be declared. The government is expected to release the terms and conditions to be eligible for financial aid offered under the scheme. However, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has made it clear that caste and religion won’t make any difference as the objective of the laadli behna yojna is to empower women while eradicating such discriminations from the society.

Eligibility Criteria for Ladli Behna Yojana

  • The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh to avail benefits of Ladli Bahana Yojana
  • There must not be any tax payers in the family of applicant
  • All women whether married or unmarried are eligible for the scheme
  • Only the women belonging to lower or middle class family are eligible for Ladli Behna scheme.

How To Apply For Ladli Behna Yojana Madhya Pradesh

If you want to take advantage of Ladli Bahna Yojana Madhya Pradesh, then you must be aware that the application for the scheme will start from 25th March 2023. Selected applicants will get Rs 1000 in their bank account on 10th of every month starting from 10th June.

The Madhya Pradesh government has announced to organize camps to fill the application form under the Ladli Bahna Yojana, women who fullfill the criteria acan fill the application form in the camp of his panchayat.

  • Go to the Gram Panchayat office and talk to the officials there.
  • Provide the required details and documents to the authorities for registration.
  • Complete the Aadhaar e-KYC process with the help of Gram Panchayat officials.
  • Once your registration is completed, you will be notified by the officials.
