CRCS Sahara Refund Portal Introduction

Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah has officially announced the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal mocrefund.crcs.gov.in today, providing a platform for crores of depositors from the Sahara Group to reclaim their funds.

During the portal’s introduction, Union Minister Amit Shah highlighted that the Sahara Refund Portal initiates the process of returning the funds to depositors that had been locked in four cooperative societies of the Sahara Group. This online platform aims to streamline and expedite the refund procedure, enabling depositors to retrieve their money efficiently.

Who can apply for CRCS Sahara Refund?

Depositors who are eligible members of any of four Sahara Group societies mentioned below can apply for a refund on the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal.

• Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd
• Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd

The online portal to apply for Sahara Refund can be accessed at https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in.

Sahara India Refund Amount

• In the initial phase, the refund portal aims to distribute up to Rs 5,000 crore to depositors.
• However, during the first phase, each depositor will only be eligible to receive Rs 10,000.

Registration and Eligibility

• Depositors whose money is struck in any of the four societies linked it Sahara group are eligible to apply for refund.
• The genuine depositor has to register themselves to the portal and submit documents
• The Aadhaar linked mobile number and Bank account is required at the time of registration
• The application is then verified by the Sahara group and a decision is to be made in 30 days

How To Apply Sahara India Refund Portal

• Open the Sahara India Refund Portal https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/
• Click on Depositor Registration
• Fill in the last four digits of your Aadhaar Card, your Aadhaar linked mobile number
• Enter the captcha as shown in the image and click Get OTP button
• Now Enter the OTP received on your mobile number, After successful verification of OTP received your account will be created in CSCS Sahara India Refund Portal.
• In the next step login to the Sahara India Refund portal by clicking the “Depositor Login” button from the main menu, or directly clicking the link https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/depositor/login
• You will again asked to enter last four digit of your Aadhaar and mobile number linked to Aadhaar
• After verifying the OTP received you can login to the portal
• Now you will be asked to furnish the details of your investments.

*The portal is still in development mode and error is showing while registering, so it is advised to wait for some more time for application.
